This is a big, big game. If we're going to have any chance of getting out of trouble, these have to be targeted for 3 points.
It'll be good to see the remade team hopefully get its first start.

Stratfords current form record is as bad as ours so I agree these are games we must win. But equally the new look team need to show us they mean business. This is Chris Nunns team now, probably as many as seven new faces on Saturday. We have had eleven months of mediocre performances, we deserve to be entertained and enjoy the next three months. Over to you Chris.Three of Diamonds wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 6:33 pm This is a big, big game. If we're going to have any chance of getting out of trouble, these have to be targeted for 3 points.

Not sure being entertained and avoiding the drop are very easy to put together, however I'm sure Chris will be doing absolutely everything to achieve the latter and if you get some of the former in the process take it as a bonus. At least your front line on Saturday will only be up against a leg swinging ball missing cart horse so that's not a bad place to start.sussexdiamond wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 9:51 amStratfords current form record is as bad as ours so I agree these are games we must win. Obviously not a fan of our former CB. How is Sam, has he been injured as not seen his name on teamsheet lately.Brownie wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 1:48 pmNot sure being entertained and avoiding the drop are very easy to put together, however I'm sure Chris will be doing absolutely everything to achieve the latter and if you get some of the former in the process take it as a bonus. An important month ahead. Home games against Stratford, Barwell and Hednesford all games we must be looking to win but also away games at Coalville, remember them?, Needham and Nuneaton. Could also have one or two re arranged games v Bromsgrove and Basford. With the departure of Tali will Nunn be able to get another striker, we only have Cooper and Burneside now.

Saw a few highlights of HB and no it’s fair to say I wasn’t over impressed with his footballing ability or awareness of where his right foot was on some occasions.sussexdiamond wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 2:51 pm Obviously not a fan of our former CB. Sam’s fine thanks got injured Boxing Day at Brackley and missed next 3 games, would have played last 3 but unfortunately all called off.
Hopefully Chris has had enough time with all the new players to get a result Saturday.

There's John Dean as well, he's a forward.sussexdiamond wrote: ↑Thu Jan 26, 2023 9:45 am An important month ahead. I'm a little worried about getting all the new faces to blend, it's a bit like the start of a season but without the friendlies to bed them in.
That said, we have an experienced manager which gives us a fighting chance, have brought players in who have actually done well at their previous clubs, not 'crocks' and you just get a feeling that off the pitch we have an idea of what we are doing.
Players probably don't care about what's going on in the boardroom but I just feel that everyone from top to bottom now knows what they are doing and the whole club is pulling in the same direction.
In a way with all these new signings we are a bit of an unknown quantity which could be an advantage.
