Posh Sports pitch

Post by sussexdiamond »

Peterboro Sports are complaining about the state of their pitch costing them points. Somewhat ironic as they continually griped about us postponing matches. Also complained that public not supporting them. Beginning of the end?

As a suggestion for them, maybe spend some of the thousands from the playing budget on the pitch.

Worrying for them .

I think was so in the same position as them ie high budget and challenging for promotion we would at least be getting 800+ (600+ Tues)

In what I find to be a largely very predictable league, that result is just baffling. There was another weird result at the weekend as well with St. Ives beating Banbury.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

I think your all being very unfair, Peterborough needed a decent non league side the locals were crying out for it, it’s not like they had PNS was it? Well they don’t now!! How many times must Dimmy Jean and Grunt Piddle tell you, they don’t have a big budget!!! just lots of local lads who want to play for them and give something to the community🙄 is that so hard to believe😳
Vast improvements have been made, you now don’t have to purchase drink from a tent and stand out it the elements to consume it. And it would appear from recent attendances the good people of Peterborough have also realised you don’t even have to bother going to watch them.
I’m sure the small but very elasticated budget will be stretched a few more times before March when we start to get a clear idea of who will win the two horse race for the title between Coalville and Sprouts. In the mean time please accept them for the well established small budget Club they are serving a die hard fan base of 125.
