[ New stand ] Final Finishing touches.
Some final infill was added Monday morning (8am) to the New Stand at Hayden Road (Top roof and right-hand side infills) - which is now fully complete.
Thanks to Stadium Solutions - https://www.stadiumsolutions.co.uk/ ( @Stad_Solutions ) and their Roofers - https://www.carterroofingsolutions.com/ for the installation.

Re: [ New stand ] Final Finish
Am sure the Commercial Team/JohnG are happy to talk to people about sponsorship opportunities/ad boards for the back of stand etc..

It's a splendid addition to the ground, and it was good to see it well used on Saturday. There is also a decent gap so that Dale's Bar and the Shop haven't been squeezed out.
Having been to other grounds where they clearly have fitted a stand to meet ground gradings in a place where it doesn't get used (Rushall Olympic being an obvious one), it's good to see something so appropriate.
Once we have a high percentage of the fans at that end of the ground it will make more sense for the advertising boards to be where they can see them, - i.e. at the sides - so hopefully that will allow the fence to be lowered next season.

Re: [ New stand ] Final Finishing touches.
The plan for a while, is for renewal boards that go behind goal to be half height, and bolder, to accommodate the fence height reduction - this is still the premium location for boards given it's often the backdrop to goals etc.. Most of the boards can already be redone at 1/2 height, with just a few needing a slightly bolder/different design and reprint to work with a thinner layout. The existing Vinyls can then be relocated at the sides so they are not wasted.

Whilst not so important our level a lot of advertisers want their boards where cameras can see them. Local coverage is great but if the team were involved in a televised FA Cup match you can get national coverage. That's why at clubs like Norwich City the animated surround screens only go round three sides. Advertising on the camera side of the ground is much cheaper than the other three. If our company sponsored a board anywhere I would want it behind the goal because that way its going to be in most of the shots that are printed in papers etc

I like the new stand, think it looks cool, ace and excellent.
