One promising stat is they have won their last 5 homes games but have only chalked up 2 points from their last 5 away games.

A lot of our rivals in the league face each other in the coming weeks and will inevitably drop points so we've just got to keep doing what we're doing.

Personally, I wouldn't change the formation now. If anything I feel we should have been a little bit more positive against Lowestoft and starting with both Jack and Tom up top.

Our back 4 will win us the game on Saturday.
Our rivals??? TTT, presumed you have joined the ever increasing band that considered maintaining a place in Step 3 and a lower mid table finish acceptable last August and now have gone over to the dark side and not making the play off's will be failure, oh you are fickle

We've already surpassed my expectations Brownie, you know that! But we're where we are on merit and I'm enjoying this competitive league matching every team we've played so far. Can we not consider Banbury, Alvechurch, Kings Lynn, Coalville, Stratford and Biggleswade our rivals? The only failure we'll have all season is going out of the Cup on a wimper.

From a financial perspective we need to win as many home matches as possible and at the least keep our play off aspirations going right to end. If we ultimately just fail to make the play offs nobody(well maybe the players and management) is going to shed tears. But the current situation is certainly exciting and is having the desired effect of more through the turnstiles. I am expecting 550-600 tomorrow.

The weather? It's pretty mild for the time of year, so shouldn't put anyone off...some light rain perhaps towards end of match..but this is the UK, in February?

Disappointing result when a half decent game of football was spoilt by a clown in black. He was completely mugged by Ravi Shamsi who suffered a near fatal injury which justified stopping the game even though it was only a leg injury on the halfway line, said Ravi Shamsi 30 seconds later was capable of giving a certain Mr Bolt a good run for his money. 🤡 in Black then fails to play the advantage when we have 2 v 1 so to try and cover his error books the Banbury No 5 (not justified) however when the keeper drops the ball and Sam Johnson legitimately went for it the No 5 steams in and should have been booked, only Coco with the big shoes and car doors that fall off when you sound the horn decides I shouldn’t have booked him the first time I’ll let him off with this one. He was by the way being assessed, do you think he got more than the 3 I gave him.
That said if we hadn’t have dropped so deep late on we may well have got 3 points.

A draw was a fair result in the end. They battered us for the first 10-15 minutes and I thought it was going to be a repeat of the first fixture, but once we realised they weren’t as good as we were making them look we grew in to the game and perhaps should have seen it out at 1-0. It was a good performance from us in the end and a very entertaining game.

I didn’t think Sam Johnson was having the greatest game but losing him seemed to unbalance the side and handed the initiative back to Banbury. I’d rather have seen Acquaye come on at that point although I can understand them wanting to bring on a more experienced player to try and see the game out.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

Attended today. Slightly less exciting than the drama at Latimer Park. Solid mid table display, why weren’t Farrell and Westy playing? Think we’re better with them in the team. Zak Reynolds best player on the pitch by a mile. Will be surprised if he doesn’t end up playing at a higher level. We should keep that first half skill off the highlight reel to stop that happening...

I'd certainly agree that a draw was about right, and would certainly have taken that during the period we were being overrun in the first half. I think the break for the "injury" to the Banbury player in the first half helped, as following that huddle we looked far more positive, although it needed the forward players to drop into midfield far more to shore things up.
