Interestingly, the preview doesn't mention that the game in December was called off by Peaksy because he wanted to go to the pub instead. Maybe someone can add that in.

Match to follow this evening: Beaconsfield v Moneyfields. I will be rootin' for our dear friends at Moneyfields to take some points off Beaconsfield.
Tomorrows games of interest: Egham v Hayes, Hartley Wintney v Ashford, Kempston v Cambridge City.
For our match tomorrow I would like to see John Dean brought back into the fold as he was impressive in his cameo and has been scoring regularly for Desborough, who are now out of the FA Vase and are not involved with the UCL promotion race.

No, no, no. I have it on "good information" that he didn't pack his woolly pully nor his thermal pants, therefore could not possibly stand on that cold touchline

Beaconsfield win 1-0. Not exactly prolific tweeters these two. Just 2 tweets each from both teams for the whole match.

Not wishing to tempt fate but with very little rain in the past 5 days and a good drying wind, if they have been able to get a roller on the pitch it could be half decent. I looked at the photos from their game Saturday & lots of grass with very little mud, one slightly ironic photo of someone securing the net back to the post, been there before.
Not sure what to expect from Aylesbury, they haven’t won at home since October and of the 2 draws & 3 defeats they even managed to loose to Barton, though the 2 others defeats were Chalfont & H & Y, they also lost 2-0 away to Fleet, but then Chalfont only drew 0-0 there 10 days ago. That said their last home win on 21st October was v Hartley Wintney.
I’d take an average but hard working performance with no cards or knocks a 2-0 win and heading home by 10.15 looking forward to Saturday.

That's a start and a half, 3-0 after 26mins.

Another decent 4-0 win and clean sheet against very weak opposition. Nothing really to add apart from we got the job done on a very bobberly, soft pitch. Having watched him closely again, Ben diamond has to start regularly. His movement, close control and balance is quality at this level. Provided a brilliant left foot cross for the opener and caused a number of problems for the defence. Aylesbury's ground reminded me of some of the UCL level venues we went to. If we gain promotion, it's not one to be missed!

Totally dominant performance - Aylesbury were lucky to get nought - totally outclassed tonight!!
Horrible place to go, boggy uneven pitch, but frankly we made it look easy - the flying start just blew them away! They never looked likely to recover.
We are very impressive at the moment !! Well done guys !!
