Thank You Brad!

Post by Dowlo »

Have just read the awful news on twitter.

Don't usually care too much when most players move on as playeers come and go all the time at this level.

Brad though will go down in club folk law as a cult hero, a player who was loyal to the club and who would play in any position and always give 100%.

Best of luck to him at Rugby.Another one of the original UCL Div1 winners departs.

Top bloke, top player & a true AFCR&D LEGEND!

His attitude especially last season was second to none, he played for the shirt and wore it with pride. In years to come he will be remembered as a legend. Good Luck Brad

All the very best Brad, you were superb for AFCRD and will be greatly missed. If ever there was a case for a hall of famer, you're in it.

Echo your thoughts Dowlo.

He will remain a thoroughly decent human being as well, which is far more important.

Brad was a great servant to the club and will be greatly missed for his commitment and versatility.
I'm not totally surprised that he has decided to move on as I suspect his role for the coming season would have been to fill in wherever necessary, and an offer which possibly suits his domestic situation better must have been very tempting.
His departure does make the lack of defensive cover more critical, with right back cover and a couple of decent centre backs a priority in my opinion.

A great shame but no great surprise, a lot less traveling and can probably work till 1.00 on home games, young family and priorities have to change.
Not only a very versatile footballer and a loyal servant to the Club, but more importantly a bloody nice lad who like many supporters I'll miss as I know many in the changing room will as well.
All the best for the future Brad in football & everything else for you & the family.
Word of warning for the rest of the team, some not over handsome lads in the DB may be on the lookout for someone new to dance with. 😳
