However, I think for pure drama (and the stakes), it has to be Michael Thomas' last minute championship winning goal for Arsenal against Liverpool in the last match of the 1988/89 season.

Against a goalkeeper that was charged with taking bribes???????????

You penis. That wasn't a last minute winner. England were already 3-2 up, tut tut
I know, but it was still a great finish to a game!

Yes. Don't forget you weren't aware of that at the time of watching.

Also doubt even he would have done that in such a game.

That is the exact sort of game that he would have taken backhanders in. Remember NOBODY would have bet on Arsenal at that time.

becks for me ;) but what about the 1979 cup final between arsenal and man poo(opps sorry)
arsenal 2 up at half time(talbot scoring),then pegged back to 2-2,then brady (god) or rix ,cant remember which, raced down the left wing and pinged a cross over for a knackered alan sunderland to poke home at the back post in the last minute....happy days :D :D

Johnny Frain, retaken free kick in the 92 minute at Wembley for the Cobblers.

Steve Howard, 92nd minute header for LCFC against Leeds in L1.

I loved them both :D
