I was stood very near the linesman as he took up his position for the penalty, and reminded him of the need to check the keeper had one foot on the line - shame he bottled an obvious decision.

Apart from the cup disappointments this has been a successful season, so i'm happy to accept we are likely to end up in mid-table. We aren't ready for promotion yet, and it would be better to build for next season rather than spending too much extra on the playing budget this season.

What a nice graceful chap their manager is

See the delightful Mick Ford is parting company with Banbury, presume they will not furnish him with a big enough budget to be able to put 10 men from a lower league to bed as opposed to be hanging on for a 2-1 win and relying on missed penalties.
Only problem will be Banbury do have a big budget and the only thing that historically may have stopped players going there is they didn’t want to play for him.
