Local one for me - I'll be there.

For those interested in a decent beer, Lookout for their house beer "The Yeltz -
Pale Ale" by local brewery, Fixed Wheel.

For those interested in a good bit of trivia, noones entirely sure why their nickname is the Yeltz.

Interesting article here about possible reasons.

And the local derby - Halesowen Vs Stourbridge is known as El Bussico, because you can catch the #9 bus practically door to door between the the grounds.

Any tips on parking in that area? The club car park seems limited to players and officials.

I'm tossing up whether to walk and have a drink, or drive - in which case I'm going to shoot for a residential street nearby, or for the Council's High Street car park (10 minute walk)

Halesowen itself is only about 15 mins walk from the ground, so you could go for a pay and display there as an option also.

Tomorrow all teams from second to seventh are away, so it is a pretty reasonable bet that points will be dropped. We on paper have one of the easiest task!!!. Mathmatically we could be in third place at 5pm, now that's an exciting thought.😀😁😂🙏

Halesowen have signed two new loan players from Torquay and Bristol Rovers for today's game.

This corresponding weekend hasn’t been too good to us in recent years.

2018 - Egham 2-1 Diamonds. The end of our long unbeaten run.

2017 - Basford 3-0 Diamonds. Probably still the worst performance under Andy Peaks and IIRC this forum was not a happy place after that game.

2016 - Diamonds 0-1 King’s Langley. The rot was starting to set in which ultimately cost is automatic promotion and home advantage in the play-offs.

Go back to 2015 though and it was quite different. Desborough 0-9 Diamonds!

Very, very big win today. Stourbridge, Stratford, Alvechurch and Coalville all lose. Diamonds, Bigglewade and Kings Lynn win. On yeah that other lot had another 90 plus win.

It wasn't too pretty, but we ground out a result today. Lorraine, Diamond and Collard all had good headed chances to give us the lead in the first half, and we were good value when we took the lead in the second half - profiting again from keeping the ball in the danger zone from a corner. I guess you'd call the remainder of the game as good "game management" as the defence , led by Liam Dolman kept the home team at bay.
