You really don't know what to expect when watching the Diamonds these days. We were awful in the first half, with some of the worst misplaced passes I can remember. We seemed to take those 45 minutes to realise the Bedworth strength came from their aerial power in defence, but then started passing the ball better and running at their defence in the second period. Even before the (harsh) red card it looked like we would be good enough to take the points. Joe Curtis improved as the game went on, but I think we are some way from knowing our best midfield three.

One real positive was that we didn't react to a host of poor challenges, coupled with their players crumbling to the ground with the slightest touch. I'm glad we don't approach the game in that way.
