Personally I think buying a temporary stand may be a better solution anyway than pouring money into the old stand at HR. We can then take it to the new ground with the terraces, and bolt on any additional capacity that may be needed.
The stand is already on order, if we can raise 30k then it stops us having to use any reserves.
Thanks for the clarification Jon. Can you still donate without the seat naming thing? Will be popping in some cash on Saturday. :good:
Yes indeed you can do, either at the club shop or there will be buckets at the turnstiles, thanks in advance.

Not an official Tweet from the club, but obviously one from a club official, they’re not the brightest are they? Remember to log into your personal account next time you’re expressing your personal views eh? :cheesy:

Nothing to really say really, they have no class whatsoever and it just shows their true colours!

So what does K*ttering investigating mean, they know who did it and will probably laugh it off over a beer and ask the numpty not to do it again, here’s till the next time they show their undoubted lack of class.

Exposed once again for what they are.

And did anyone else notice that the official statement didn’t actually include an apology?

Shambles from top to bottom.

I guess it isn’t from an official but someone who has been granted access in the past to their official twitter account possibly to do the match tweeting.
We are aware that our club has a number of volunteers who do the match tweeting, on a rota/availability basis, and it is often mentioned when listening to Radio Diamonds and these people are entrusted to do so but care needs to be exercised that they do not bring the club into disrepute. Knowing the people who carry out these duties, on behalf of our club, I have full confidence that they would not write anything so crass and disrespectful.

The FA would do FA stagman, let them have their fun, just smile and point at them and laugh at them! Classless bunch! Always have been, always will be!

They’ve thrown all their cash at the team this year rather than spending it on their ground to get it up to a decent standard, then if you look on Twitter their fans are criticising our Board for this initiative - morons!

How that ground of theirs passes ground grading now is beyond me, let alone will for step 2, the pitch side barrier alone should fail it, but obviously different rules apply for some clubs. We’ve been at Hayden Road 5 minutes in comparison and already the strides made by the club and volunteers to get the place up to standard have been astounding. The fact that we have to spend a small fortune on the dressing rooms to increase it by 1 square meter shows how out of touch the FA truly are!

Let’s just carry on doing what we’re doing and hopefully they’ll implode under the pressure! Wouldn’t it be great to see them fail in their bid for promotion this year - it’d be interesting to see them going out with their begging bowls to other fans again next year eh?

I hope as many Diamonds fans as possible are able to support this initiative, showing what fan power can do. I'm sure the guys in the club shop will be ready and willing to take any seat pledges or donations this afternoon.
