Well that was a game to forget for the most part. I dunno whether we just had an off day or were tactically naive. Certainly not play off material at that speed or quality. In the big scheme another point on the board.

Only goal difference separating 5th and 9th with many of the teams below us with up to three games in hand. Whilst we are still in the Play-Offs, we are actually losing touch with them with results like today.

It was a bit flat both on and off the pitch today for whatever reason. It was really only Albie that was providing any sort of threat to the opposition whilst almost all others weren't really at the races.

The first half was awful from front to back. We looked a bit better in the second half but even then it wasn't really the sort of performance we've come to expect. Having said that we could and probably should have won the game, hitting the post twice in the second half and their goal coming from a defensive error. We really ought to have tested their 'keeper more as he was all over the place when called upon. I can recall a couple of occasions where we opted to pass when an opportunity to shoot presented itself.

I'd put Lowestoft in the same category as Hitchin, in that from what I've seen across the two games I don't think they're a side that should be hovering around the relegation zone. It was still 2 points dropped today though.
