As there is no action for AFCR&D this weekend (our match with Stratford Town being off for some time due to their FA Trophy Progress), and R&HUFC are away in the UCL1 - so have just put this here as a reminder.

What games are people going to see instead? (If not Christmas shopping, though bit early really, Sun 23rd best day to start... other than the Diamonds Club Shop of course).

Indeed - dodging the awful weather too.

I was amazed to discover the Poppies had signed striker Adam Cunnington after he left big spending Conference South Billericay Town - he won't have come cheap. Judging by today's result they might have been better spending some of their huge budget on a defender or two.

Very true, might have been quite a low turnout if we had had a game, what with wet and cold and then a mess of a pitch to sort for Thursday (Academy U18), and the Boxing Day match.

I don’t care if they go on to win the league, they should piss it with their budget and looking at the squad they have assembled. But days/results like today are comedy gold!!
