I know we still have the Redditch game to come first, but Boxing Day is always one of my highlights of the season and the weather (fingers crossed) is looking not too bad, maybe a bit wet, but at least mild, can't wait, hopefully we can draw another decent crowd after a crowds have dropped off in the last few weeks.

I'm not too sure about the crowds having dropped off. The Halesowen gate may have been an anomaly due to the short notice, with no publicity of it at the previous home game - which itself had a gate of over 500. Let's hope for decent weather in the New Year, as without incurring any weather issues so far, we've only managed 5 home league games kicking off at 3pm this season prior to this Boxing Day game, which will take us to the mid-point of the season.

<BUMP> Updated the thread with the official link and match graphic now. Happy Christmas and see you all on Boxing Day! (Let's hope for, as forecast, dry days between now and then).

Pleased with that, well done lads! :clapping:
  • Play it out from the back.
  • 1 up front.
  • Man gets one good result via a new manager bounce and thinks he's Pep Guardiola.

Back into the top 5, with two massive games coming up in the next several days, very exciting position to be in considering it's our first season at this level. Not sure what to expect from the next two, Biggleswade will obviously be very tough to beat and K*ttering are a bit Jekyll and Hyde at the minute, but hopefully the boys will be up for both, positive results will really show we're serious about a playoff push.

As comfortable as they get today, though our opponents showed their form and losing a man didn't help them, not a perfect performance by any means and the number of failed crosses did get a bit frustrating, but another win, we seem to play better against better teams and we're in great form, so I'm not complaining :clapping:

Thought we played some good stuff at times, short quick passes around the box, they didn't offer much.

Hoping Peaks will rotate the team for Saturday so we are nice and fresh for the big one
