Hope we don't try to sit on this lead. With an outfield player in their goal we have to put him under pressure.

Another great day out in Suffolk against a team that made the playoffs at this level last year, a brilliant result proving once again that despite mixed performances over the last few weeks, we are not in this league to make up the numbers and are capable of beating anyone anywhere, maybe 3rd place isn't looking such a false position afterall...
Oh and K*ttering losing 3-0 at home to St Ives, are the wheels are coming off for them (and just weeks before the derby)

Absolutely brilliant win, sounds like a great performance all round!! Albie Hopkins is definitely proving his worth, let’s hope his teammate can be just as good too!

It was probably even a better performance than the trip to Needham Market. When we conceded the goal late in the first half it was reasonable to expect we'd be under real pressure in the second. playing with the wind and rain in our faces. What happened was the complete opposite, as we completely dominated, barely allowing the hosts a chance, and creating a host of good chances ourselves, with some last ditch defending keeping the score down. Albie continues to get better and better, but praise must go to the two new guys at centre-back, who both had excellent games.
The early goal was good, but we'd started to come under some pressure when there was a break in play, and all the players huddled in front of the bench, with a few tweaks made by the management we got back on the front foot. We clearly like playing against the passing teams, with our closing down being excellent. So many players put in performances that would have earned them a man of the match award in any other game.
We found a great new way to avoid conceding goals from corners - not giving any away!.

Wild assumption to make, you still have to do a job. How many times have we played over the years without a recognised keeper on the bench, a certain game near Wolverhampton springs to mind.
The whole team were suburb today but I’d give special mention to our 2 new centre backs, one training session never met before and put in a performance like that.

Great result and happy to have the points on the board rather than the games in hand!
How tight is the league becoming though? 6 points separate 4th to 17th and with a few team with up to 4 games in hand, some currently looking over their shoulder could be sit in the top 5 once they have caught up.

I’m not doing very well this season - that’s now Needham Market and Leiston I’ve missed! Perhaps I should stay away.
Great to see us get a win away from home which we’ve found difficult of late. Will there be any highlights available?
