Re: 630 fans.........
Nice to see Gully score against the scum in what, in truth, was a waste of time for them. There's nothing to be taken from a game like that at this stage of the season and I bet Hamfisted is glad to see it behind him. Decent turnout from Corby fans though !!

Re: 630 fans.........
Corby fans seem like an odd bunch, judging by browsing their forum they were treating the game as a cup final and a few of them on their forum seem like complete tools
Unfortunately us or Ketrin will never really consider them as fierce rivals, 3 is a crowd afterall ;)

Re: 630 fans.........
I did find it a bit strange that Corby only took 80 to a big FA Trophy tie where as they took 630 to a crappy cup game that no one gives a shit about. I'd be embarrassed if I was one of their fans getting so excited about beating a rival when it's only in a County Cup game, where everyone knows you just put out a reserve side.

Exactly as many as we had at RR, where the hell did they all come from as that's double their home average and in a very minor cup!

Re: 630 fans.........
Being from Corby, a lot of my mates went to the game, many of whom weren't even Corby fans.
I went to the game just to check it out, with a few mates. The Corby atmosphere was brilliant quite frankly.
Unlike us, there seems to be this air of popularity and buzz surrounding Corby at the moment. The scenario being it seems as something which will be fun/enjoyable to attend, possibly created by the fact they are on this big high, and we are on the way down as it may seem to the outsider. Also, personally, I have been receiving lots of banter about how Corby are going to 'hammer us' etc. They really are starting to dream of the big time.

And, as I've now found out, managed to injure JP Marna in the process.

have to chuckle how serious K*ttering were taking it, considering they put a full strength side out against us, and Corby.. considering its a cup no one really cares about. Also funny that they were outnumbered by the Corby fans!!
