Guy who does the video for Hayes says he had a problem with his tape in the first half!

However the DVD recorder should be fine, but it will take him time to process that before putting it online.

So guys we're gonna have to wait just a tad longer to see Tommo's special! :D :D

Why can't we do something like upload highlights to youtube? I always see somebody up there recording, but never see any highlights.. What exactly are we filming for? :s

Send me the footage. I'll do it for free.

The games (or some games, at least) are recorded, I presume for training purposes.

Surely it wouldn't be too hard to send a copy to somone (DiamondsFan, for example!) to create a highlights package? Does anyone 'in the know' know the logistics behind this?

Each club records its home games and gives a copy to the away team - usually on DVD, although sometimes on VHS. There are various contractual constraints relating to broadcasting games or highlights packages - http://www.thediamondsfc.com/page/player/Home

Surely there are no contractual constraints now Setanta have gone boom? Oxford give their's to the BBC, H&Y and York (now stopped) do their own Youtube pages. I've said before I'd be happy to edit the match footage if the cameraman would send it to me and it would be nice to see various goals again not to mention the money that could be made from highlights DVDs. I think it's something the club should really look into, H&Y obviously make some money from selling their games however little and KC did say to sweat all the facilities. :)

Formic, does Diamonds World/Player still provide video highlights? I used to subscribe back in the day (not a small sum, either) but stopped when the regular commentary ceased.

I reckon it'd be a good idea to get a DVD of every game highlights and sell them in the club shop? £5 a game or something.
