Yep, nice to return to winning ways and for Nabs to be back in the goals, a good workout ahead of Saturday's big test against Egham. Think Tom Lorraine played well and Smith was busy all night.

Re: New Sponsor

Yes well done to John for achieving this! Whilst I appreciate that attendances maybe lower at Kempston and, therefore, gate income is reduced, perhaps a little of this sponsorship money could be set aside for Andy's player budget which, if my weekly figure has been calculated correctly, put us in t...

Great news, congrats to the commercial team once again for their efforts and expertise in securing another terrific sponsorship deal for us.

Re: [ Sat 22nd Apr ] v Carlton Town, KO 3pm NPL1S HOME

Congratulations to the lads - in what was our first season in this very tough and competitive league, sealing a play-off place is a very decent achievement.

Re: [ Tue 11th Apr ] v Stocksbrdge Park Steels, KO 7:45pm NPL1S HOME

Thought the lads put plenty of effort in but ultimately we were second best all over the park, all night. Don't have a problem with much of why we fell short (formation, tactics, subs etc) as many of these things can only be seen in hindsight, but the issue I do find frustrating is the lack of organ...

Re: [ Sat 18th Feb] v Kidsgrove Athletic, KO 3pm NPL1S AWAY

Thankfully he didn't give us the runaround for the entire match this time - another great away win for the lads, clean sheet to boot. Sounds like Finners was superb while nice to see some significant milestones achieved - Brad's 200th game and Tom's 50th club goal. Kidsgrove really did tear us apart...

Yes it was a tremendous effort all round - Ford and Farrel in particular were superb and McNulty, Brad, Dolman, Lorraine and Bunts gave it everything in difficult circumstances. Looking good for another play-off appearance which will once again exceed pre-season expectations.

Re: Rushden Town Colours

Migration to Rushden has diluted the dialect somewhat in the past hundred years so to our modern ears it doesn't ring true. Anybody remember the ITV Series 'Hunters Walk' televised in the early 70's which apparently used the old Rushden Police Station and the interesting local dialect? Pooley ........

Yes all red with a white trim - at least it was from about 86 to 92.

Re: Members Forum - New Ground Options

Fantastic effort from Ralph to summarise all that information tonight. Huge thanks also to all the board members who've clearly gone to great lengths to research and negotiate 3 really positive options for us to mull over, 2 of which are certainly much better than I'd been imagining. The future coul...
