Re: [ Tue 5th Mar ] v Quorn FC, KO 7:45pm NPLD1M HOME
Quorn were the better side, it’s as simple as that. They came with a game plan, they started with a high intensity, they isolated Ngwa and Taylor, which cut off the supply to our strikers. I actually thought we started off well, but once they got the first goal it was only going one way, not quite s...

Re: [ Sat 2nd Mar ] v Coleshill Town, KO 3pm NPLD1M AWAY
I was skeptical of the Harriman appointment, but he’s well and truly made me eat my words! Credit has to go to rest of the coaching team as well, the players are obviously buying in to what they are doing. On to Tuesday, let’s hope it doesn’t fall foul to the weather again. Is John Dean injured by t...

Re: Rushden Spartans Proposed Name Change
I don’t personally know the guys behind Rushden Spartans, they may well be the nicest lads in the world, but them attempting to change their name to Rushden Town FC shows a complete lack of respect to our club, and the original Rushden Town. essentially from their statement it sounds like they are a...

Re: [ Sat 3rd Feb ] v Coventry Sphinx, KO 3pm NPLD1M HOME
I’ll admit I was wrong as I feared the worse with George Rose returning, but he had a decent game. I’d even say he was player of the match, over Fraser who had a quiet game. They obviously did their homework on Miguel, as he was well off his usual self. On to the referee, another who wanted to be ce...

George Rose returns as Ben Heath is unavailable.
Let’s hope the defence is on form.

Good interview from Harriman, he said the players are learning to win, which is very much evident recently. Also he said something along the lines of it’s all good and well playing pretty football, but they are doing the nasty side as well when it’s necessary.

Teriffic first half and a gritty, battling second. We'll done team. Now we have momentum is it worth considering getting key players on end of season contracts? Ngwa, Corden etc I questioned on Twitter/X, when Garwood left why hadn’t we put him on a contract, but got the response that it wasn’t sen...

Re: [ Tue 30th Jan ] v Boldmere St Michaels, KO 7:45pm NPLD1M HOME
The managements hard work is starting to pay off, after initially being sceptical of the Harriman appointment, he’s making me eat my words! Yes I will admit I was wrong to question Harriman, the results have finally materialised and the hard work is paying off. Though in my defence, it was 9 straig...

Absolutely dominant in the first half, Boldmere obviously had a rolocking at half time from their manager, but the lads stood up and did what was needed.

Re: [ Sat 27th Jan ] v Sutton Coldfield Town, KO 3pm NPLD1M HOME
Great feeling to walk out of the ground with a win, it’s been a while! But If you’d asked me to predict who would score our goal I wouldn’t have picked Johnston! Fair play to him though he took advantage of the opportunity. Once again the referee was an absolute joke, it’s probably the situation we’...
