Re: Dunham Uninspired With Poppies Signings

He also tweeted early on Friday about his expectations for the Diamonds signings after seeing the pre-announcement hype from our Social Media team - "Looks like a busy day incoming for Diamonds, I’ll have to catch up tomorrow."

He'll find there is less to do that he thought.....

Re: New Home

May be an unpopular opinion but I'm happy with where we are at the minute, I think we need to have a serious discussion about what step we are actually wanting to get to, we don't want to be building a new stadium and then struggling to fill it while banking on getting promoted, we need to make sur...

Re: Former Players

Really sad to hear about Faz, he was a fine player. Was it him who scored 4 in an 8 - 0 rout of Gateshead or someone, at NP? That was Michael Gash against Bath. Just terribly sad news, Faz was someone you knew would put in 100% every game, and came across as a really likeable bloke. First Dale, the...

How sad. I remember the interview between Craig and Mark Lea shortly after Dale Roberts death, which highlighted what a caring person he was.

Note on Player Stats

I'm not sure who looks after the player stats these days, but it looks rather "automated" based on a database of matches. I guess someone might do some close season checking and preparation for the new campaign, and if so, they might like to note that the stats are including matches played...

Re: [ Sat 23rd Apr ] v Nuneaton Borough, KO 3pm SLPDC HOME

The whole question what level a Community Owned Club that doesn't have a beneficial arrangement for their ground e.g. with their local authority can aspire to might be worth some debate. Would we have generated enough extra revenue to fund time at Step 2, with massively increased travel costs, wages...

Although I haven't been validating the stats as much as when I was maintaining the appearance details in the old website profiles, I think this might be Liam Dolman's 300th appearance for the club if he plays at the weekend.

Re: Membership

I agree we all want the same thing. A lot of the problem from comments made would appear to be the Hayden Road situation and accompanying match day experience and the restraints this tight ground presents complicated by a joint tenancy agreement. I’ve been studying the FA Ground Grading Requirement...

Re: [ AFCRD ACADEMY ] OPEN TRIALS U19-U23

It looks like the junior teams Twitter account has been renamed based on this initiative, and has tweeted the flyer along with the narrative "Open Trials. These non-education squads seek 2 attract +retain best local talent, enabling players 2 select best education, internship, or work. Successf...
