Re: FA Vase 2nd Round Draw

Fed up beyond belief - ANOTHER away draw ! Because of that I'll miss this one !! Hoping we either win or get a draw so I can see us beat them on the Tuesday after ;) !! Very disappointed by this though - unless I can drive from Bedford to there in under an hour??? Hmmmmm probably not eh? :( I know ...

Re: FA Vase 2nd Round Draw

Totally agree, any fool can moan but not many step forward saying they can do a better job. Just for the record I'm no fool and yes I could certainly do a better job. If I was as incompetent I'd have been sacked many years ago. So you don't like being called a fool and you correct peoples grammar. ...

Re: [ Sat 19th Oct ] v Woodford United, KO 3pm FAVase1R AWAY

According to a tweet from Tony Incenzo of Talksport the crowd for our match of 312 was the largest in the first round of the Vase on Saturday. Good job those 12 Woodford supporters were there -to take you over the 300 mark!! You refer I presume to the Woodford massive. I had a chat with the o...

Re: FA Vase 2nd Round Draw

Any idea as to their average home gate? Never even heard of them myself, but another new ground to tick off the list! High of 107. Low of 78. Average of 96. http://www.nonleaguematters.co.uk/divisions/20/ Presume we can look forward to a nice "for one week only Special" price increase jus...

Re: FA Vase 2nd Round Draw

The ground is about a Drive and a 4 iron from The Wolves according to my WW contact but sadly he knows sod all about them. Wouldn`t worry to much about the unbeaten at home bit, lots of good sides have impressive home records but then eventually get beat :(

Re: FA Vase 2nd Round Draw

Presume it`s fair to assume for all Cup comps the FA have two ball bags (pardon the expression) one for everyone else and one for our assured away tie
Oh well if you are going to win any comp you will at some point have to play good teams, onward and upward.

Re: [ Sat 12th Oct ] v Dover Athletic, KO 3pm FACUP3Q AWAY

I see there was an increase of 25% in the average attendance for the FA Cup 3rd Qualifying Round over the corresponding round last season and it's great that we've helped to increase those attendance figures. http://www.thefa.com/TheFACup/News/2013/Oct/third-qualifying-round-attendances.aspx May ha...

...you have insured Trek will not reach the ground till 2.30  If you're going to insult me please use the right word. It's ensured, insured is something you need for your motor vehicle. ;) He may have insured you don't reach the ground? :D No I've INSURED against seeing you prior to 2.30. And ...

Re: Elliott Dent

He has and can play at a higher level, so it is a shame he is not staying with us. Good Luck Elliot...... Not sure he has thought he was at Deeping or another UCL Prem side but agree with the rest. Never know may see him again in the future. Won't say all the best again as that would be my hat trick.
