Re: Stewards.

On a sensible note though. It would appear the club fan base may be outgrowing the volunteers base as a percentage, so rather than run the risk of something silly happening which could damage the Clubs reputation & bank balance measures need to be in place. Paid stewards may not be required ever...

Re: Stewards.

As for stewards not getting to see the game other than fetching the ball, we watch 95% of it so may be we should introduce a £5 fine to any player that kicks the ball out the ground! I think the "you kicked it, you fetched it rule" should apply Good job this wasn't applied at NP or Jim Ro...

Re: Diamonds squad taking shape

And some of those signed on may not actually stay long, especially if they don't get a start! Always going to be a problem in any Club, you need cover & a squad of 20+ but if you start well and have no injuries some may go a while waiting for a start. We do have more league games this season an...

Hopey I`m sure is no more than work as don`t think he has been to training yet, with school and his other commitments presume it`s manic for him at moment. Even if he is not available every week we need him about as much as possible. Parky hopefully is on the mend as if no Hopey on a regular basis n...

Re: FA CUP & FA VASE DRAWS TOMORROW.

Vase odds 8/1 Whitworth in Extra prelim, winner to play Welly or Irchester.
Think we needed to have won at Ashington to have missed a couple of rounds, still the earlier we start the more games, all makes for a happy treasurer and he did make us all smile last night.

Re: Diamonds squad taking shape

Hope he does stay as for me he is one of half a dozen or so young players we want to hang on to. Got a lot still to learn but has raw talent and not lacking in pace. He like a few others could be with us for a long time & a few levels higher.

Re: 20 Clubs in UCL Prem.

Hope JG hasn't seen this as he'll probably add the missing revenue to match day sponsorship. Adult ground entry now £6.08p, running a tight ship you know. I'm sure we will manage to survive. Though The Wobblers in 1st round of FA Cup would be nice, if not Coventry as also local and sure Starms...
