Re: Jamie Cook

I guess he has now decided that he's a better footballer than he is a golfer! Very difficult to make money out of golf unless you can get in the top 50 in Europe. The expenses travelling to and from tournaments plus hotel expenses can be a killer and if you don't make the cut then you're losing mon...

Re: Jamie Cook

Cook is a very clever player. Apparently he's an excellent golfer and you can see that when he plays football in so much as he's always thinking ahead.
I'd love to see him back in a Diamonds shirt.

Re: Strikers tonight

Only a handful of us to watch the game in Strikers tonight, where was everybody? This might indicate that a significant proportion of our fan base doesn't actually live on the doorstep and many like me won't drive many miles to Nene Park just to watch a game of footie, on a poor quality large scree...

Re: Nene Park

Quite frankly we need more help, t he place is a mess . It's all very well have a once a year blitz but as any homeowner knows the secret to having a well maintained house/garden is to do a bit each week throughout the year and then the task is not so daunting. Since the days of the Griggs ownershi...

Don't forget that you'll be quite close to him at Brackley if you chose to stand behind the goal and a little bit of quiet and discreet sledging as employed by Aussie wicket-keepers and slip fielders would be in order. ;)

Re: Stone Leaves!

Well there's the biggest perk for him right there, as mentioned by Trek the other day. I believe that with the ever rising cost of travelling and road traffic delays this should be a major consideration for anyone seeking employment and has always been at the top of my list when considering a chang...

Re: Stone Leaves!

I've always thought that, but i spose if you car share its not so bad! I take your point but travelling around London is difficult enough and I wouldn't have thought an assistant manager would share with a player. Anyway, Stone is clearly an ambitious lad and would see that a coaching role with Bar...

That would make a lot of sense.
If Barnet's offer was the same as our offer then Stone would be quids in at the Bees.
