Re: Oadby Town

Holbeach are certainly putting themselves out there as the big-spending favourites. Their ground when we played them last season wasn't one of the best in the UCL (then again neither was Spalding's) - does anyone know if Holbeach have the grading & will apply for promotion?

Re: Oadby Town

Yes hopefully we'll have happier memories than our last visit there, although it's a shame to see the back of Stocking, whose own understanding of the length of the 2012-13 season provided such comical amusement for us.

Is Jon Stevenson still on their books, does anyone know?

Re: WORLD CUP

I can see us getting through our tough group, possibly at the expense of Uruguay as Suarez won't be 100% fit. After that we'll only go as far as the luck of the draw allows, would think a penalty exit will be on the cards. Unfortunately I think we still do need Rooney. He has got abilities our other...

Re: New Signing - Adam Confue....

Possibly so, although I don't think we're anywhere near the scale of how Spalding built their powerful squad last year, and we still don't know whether there will be another club that does something like that in our league ahead of next season. If so then they will claim that big spending label ahea...

Re: Ben Morgan

End of an era with Ben leaving but what a fine player and representative of the club he was throughout his time here. I thought his darting runs (especially when coming off the bench against tiring defences), speed of thought and constant awareness of the positioning of his team-mates was great to w...

Re: New Signing - Adam Confue....

Never seen him play but on paper a midfielder who scored double figures at Step 4 last season appears to be a terrific signing for us. As has been pointed out, we were doing ok in that position - maybe this could be a sign that the management team are targeting a strong showing in the cups through t...

Re: Programme awards

Think this is a fantastic achievement. 26th in the whole of the non-league pyramid, a further testament to the highly skilled work & dedication going on behind the scenes. Well done to all involved.

Re: Another new signing

Great signing, just what we needed and his genuine pace will be crucial in the big games next season against the other title challengers.

And good shout from Trek 8 days ago!

Re: New signing

Slightly disappointed that Scott Joseph can't commit to the club as I thought he showed potential. His goals coming off the bench at Harborough were sublime, weren't they? I guess it was always going to be a tough ask to retain all the players most of us wanted. Think the official site said it was ...
