Re: [ Sat 18th Aug ] v Stourbridge FC, KO 3pm ESPC AWAY

On the subject of West Midlands attendances, Alvechurch had 730 for their FA Cup game against Bromsgrove, but the Alvechurch manager was disappointed with the turnout, commenting "...I was a bit disappointed by the size of the crowd. Maybe some of the Bromsgrove supporters realised that we always be...

Attendance 1733 for their local derby against Halesowen tonight is pretty impressive.

Re: [ Mon 25th Aug ] v St Neots Town, KO 3pm ESPC AWAY

It was good to see Ben Diamond doing some warming up today. I was surprised Leon Lobjoit didn't get a run out today if we were without Bowen and Dean was being rested. This really is a season where we are having to make significant changes due to injuries and unavailability. It's so difficult to kee...

Re: [ Sat 25th Aug ] v Deeping Rangers, KO 3pm FACPR AWAY

Let's hope for a disciplined performance in all senses. We've conceded almost as many penalties (2) as we did for the whole of last season (3), and I've seen three "red card" challenges in the three games where we have escaped with a yellow.

Re: [ Sat 18th Aug ] v Stourbridge FC, KO 3pm ESPC AWAY

Another creditable performance, although we weren’t quite up to the level of our opponents. Jack Ashton was my choice for MoM before the rash challenge that was punished with the winning goal if not the red card it might have brought. I was puzzled by our second substitution, as we ended up playing ...

Disappointed to be missing this game in my home town...against the team I've supported since a kid...along with the mighty Wolves obviously. If you get time then look out The Royal Exchange in Enville Street. Superb Bathams ale and cobs! walking distance from the ground too. The Duke in Coventry St...

Re: [ Tue 14th Aug ] v Biggleswade Town, KO 7:45pm ESPC AWAY

I'd echo the points above. We were the best side in the first quarter until we had to rearrange things. We could easily have taken a point with more clinical finishing. The defence is doing a decent job but sometimes needed to be more decisive about getting the ball to safety. Biggleswade were one o...

Re: Digital match day programme

I bought the online one too, with a chance to read it the day before the game. I was offered three months of Magzter Gold for around £1 when I went to checkout - that gives you access to lots of other magazines during that period - and you obviously get to keep the match programme you also buy, Reme...
