Even at the very top level of our game when additional time is announced at 90 minutes it is accepted that this is the ‘minimum’ time and therefore it is up to the referee to add any further additional time that may be necessary, in his opinion, during the previously announced additional time. I was...

Short of the ref running over and telling him the fourth official wouldn't know how much extra time there is. In top league football the ref uses his radio to tell him. They don't have them at our level.

Maybe there's your problem. Let the fourth official do the timekeeping?

Oh excellent. An almost instantaneous replay of one of the worst games of football I’ve seen in years.
I think St Ives will set up to play for penalties. :hmmm:

Re: [ Sat 13th Oct ] v Barwell FC, KO 3pm ESCP HOME

A real shame that Ben Farrell mislaid his shooting boots in the close season since he was our leading goalscorer last season. He had one or two decent opportunities just inside the box but has clearly lost his composure. I also thought we were marginally the better side today and can see this will b...

Re: Joel Gyasi Heads Down The A6

An opportunity for John Dean perhaps? Or Reynolds playing further forwards with Westwood behind him. Dean was my initial thought. However you’ve got me thinking about Callum’s strengths. How about Peaksie trying him in the wide role in front of Reynolds? I have been critical of his defensive qualit...

Barwell still have Brady Hickey playing for them and he has always performed well when playing against us for the ‘Scottish team’ and, of course, scoring the winning goal a few seasons back in the FA Cup replay at the Dog & Duck for Barwell.

I expect it to be a very tight match.

I saw that Joe Curtis scored the Lankies second goal so it’s great that he’s getting minutes and will still be available for us if needed.
