Re: Half Term Report

Solid 7/10. Just pleased we're not dreading every game. The mid table is very tight and a few poor results would still leave us looking over our shoulders but Top 10 would suit me this season. Would have loved a cup run!

The slightly disappointing thing may by the attendances which is no doubt ...

Re: Former Players

Some ploppies supporters asking why we were supporting a player who never played for us (AFCRD) why shouldn’t we? Especially against that lot! He played for the old club, and still speaks fondly of his time at RDFC.

Also while I do enjoy banter, I do think whoever was tweeting on our official x ...

As mentioned on the other thread, crowds were well down across the board yesterday - combination of awful weather and Christmas shopping suspected.

430 crowd. I understand why with the weather but that is dismal. I would have assumed this was one of three games this season (along with Corby and Worcester) where the board would have hoped, and maybe even budgeted, for a bumper crowd so today won't have helped the finances at all!

I wonder if we will have the annual budget cuts after Xmas at Corby this year ?
Christmas come early? Corby shipped another 4 today. Now 9 points off top.

I think we deserve an explanation from the gaffer for this one. Awful result.
What do you mean?
If you ship 4 goals in the first 43 minutes you clearly have not prepared for the opponent.

Re: Cobblers vs K*ttering

Tough day to be a Rushden fan. No beating around the bush with this one, very jealous indeed! Would love to see AFCRD in the 1st round of the FA Cup.

Do us a favour Jon Brady and give them a massive hiding

Given our record in recent years, the first round qualifying would be positive, let ...
