Not the best of displays, but in the circumstances a good result.
The UCL will be pleased that they will get a good crowd for the final. 8-)

I thought Scotty ran his heart out tonight and good to see the goal machine, Brad Harris on the score sheet again

It is a real mush-mash of wind and rain at the moment, I hope it doesn't spoil the game like Saturday.
Should make goal keeping interesting though

Re: Holbeach have......

The ruling in the FA handbook says that at the end of the season clubs at step 5 that finish top of their league will be promoted as long as they meet the criteria for promotion. If they do not then the club finishing in second place will be considered. If the club in second place does not meet the...

Re: Countdown Time

Nothing in football is a formality, I for one will not be getting carried away until it is mathematically certain we win the league

I thought it was top 3??? It is. Re: Holbeach have......

I have spoken to Ian Hughes and he has confirmed that they have dropped their application, but no reasons given why.

We still have to finish in the top two to get promoted though

Re: Holbeach have......

Given this is Step 5 football & we still have 5 days left till the transfer deadline what are the odds on Mr un-ironed penis (Dick Creasey) at present trying to broker a deal to transfer the application to Wisbech?? It can't be done, each club has to apply for itself, there are no transfers of ...

To save the time and expense incurred by the UCL ground grader turning up at Carter's Park to do the ground grading inspection, I would suggest.

They already have the grading Trek

Re: Dog & Duck...

As Dave has pointed out the grading system can be a bit of a minefield and open to interpretation.
With any promotion there is a twelve month period of grace to get work do if necessary.

As it stands the D&D will meet step 4 standards, but who knows what changes the FA may make in the meantime.
