Re: [ Sat 27th Apr ] v Walsall Wood, KO 3pm NPLD1M AWAY
Surely you only get an in league reprieve, nor across all Step 4 leagues, if the resigning club goes 'in season' and is therefore suggested to finish bottom. That pushes us up. But, that can't happen here? You'd have to expunge their results? Sphinx got 4 points off them. No ways that change happen...

To my knowledge, voluntary relegations are treated ‘in area’, so 2nd bottom in our league will be reprieved. Which is us. It will be no less than what the club, manager, management squad, players, volunteers, and us fans deserve. Sad for Loughborough Dynamo of course.

Re: PAY WHAT YOU WANT! [ Sat 20th Apr ] v Shepshed Dynamo, KO 3pm NPLD1M HOME
The cruel thing is if we were to get a two goal better result than Rugby we'd go down on goals scored can you believe! But it isn't beyond the realms of possibility that we can create a big enough GD swing if Rugby themselves put 4 past Walsall. If Rugby win 1-0 and we win 4-0 then we stay up. Hone...

Excellent win & scenes after Inman’s goal. Got a good feeling for a Boldmere win or at least a draw against Rugby next week - Boldmere are a good side as evidenced last week and they have one of the leagues top scorers in Owen Parry. Obviously we have to do our jobs and beat Walsall away, but th...

Re: FA Cup changes
Pretty sure they know that. It’s about having a united front though. I too agree that it would be good for the club to make a public statement.SouthRushdenJFC wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 5:37 pm If you think the FA will listen to the thoughts of a club at the nether regions of the pyramid you are deluded.

Re: Three Game Run-in
Personally feel that Rugby will beat Walsall Wood this weekend, they got a red card tonight in their loss to Quorn and listening to their manager’s post match interview it sounds like their squad is very thin. As I posted in the Shepshed thread, I really do think we should be beating them this weeke...

Re: [ Sat 20th Apr ] v Shepshed Dynamo, KO 3pm NPLD1M HOME
Spent my evening up the butthole, and what a great evening it was! Shepshed were, in my eyes, utterly hopeless before the red card. There were two very contrasting styles of play, Shepshed attempting to play everything out from the back and on the floor, and Gresley hitting the ball long constantly....

Re: Three Game Run-in
After losing their game in hand tonight 1-5 to struggling Shepshed it must be said that Coventry Sphinx are also in this relegation battle. Sitting on 31 points they have to play Anstey, Boldmere, and Hinckley!!! Boldmere and Shapeshed really have had a massive part to play in this relegation battle...

Re: Three Game Run-in
We’ve got to target all 9 points, our remaining games are all against teams who have nothing to play for, we have to take advantage of that. Boldmere - to be fair this is by far our toughest game left, we narrowly beat them at home thanks to Corden’s heroics and they have been on a brilliant run of...
