Re: [ Sat 27th Apr ] v Walsall Wood, KO 3pm NPLD1M AWAY
Lose and we're down Draw and we're reliant on Rugby losing to stay safe Win and Rugby lose or draw and we're safe Win and Rugby win - then it all goes to goal difference or even goals scored, we need a swing in our favour. So whilst I don't think anyone's taking a win for granted - it's the only rea...

Re: [ Sat 13th Apr ] v Boldmere St Michaels, KO 3pm NPLD1M AWAY
I'll take that. If anything we scored too early, however we were well on top for the early stages until Miguel went off Injured. Boldmere had a strategy, and that was kick, trip and aim to injure Miguel at all costs - and it worked! Once that happened the game changed and it was total Boldmere attac...

Re: Three Game Run-in
Whilst it's no longer entirely in our hands anymore. I think we need to go into it with the mindset of needing 9 points from 9 and we'll be alright. I highly doubt, especially considering the games they've got, that Gresley and Rugby will pick up full points from their games. And I think with the wa...

Given Rugby and Gresleys wins today, this is the real start to our great escape.
3 x Cup Finals coming up, and we need to be targeting 9 points out of 9 from the remaining games.

Re: [ Mon 1st Apr ] v Harborough Town, KO 3pm NPLD1M AWAY
Superb performance every one of the lads today. First half we more than matched them, outplayed them at times. Second half, Harborough threw everything but the kitchen sink at us, definitely rode our luck at times, but a superb defensive display and some awesome goalkeeping from Heath kept them out....

Re: The Great Escape
Just out of curiosity - I projected the next 6 and 8 games based on the current 6 and 8 game form tables. If all the teams down the bottom had 6 more matches continuing the current 6 game form - then the table would look like this towards the business end of the season. 14th Cambridge p35 - 29 point...

First of 3 tough games with Quorn, Lye, Quorn - we really need to get something from these to keep the pressure on

Re: [ Sat 2nd Mar ] v Coleshill Town, KO 3pm NPLD1M AWAY
Great performance, clinical 1st half. Took our foot off the gas a little 2nd half and endured some pressure - but soaked it up well, and never really looked in danger. Special mention to the singers today - absolutely grim weather and they were soaked behind the goal with no cover - made some seriou...
