Re: [ Sat 28th Oct ] v Rugby Town, KO 3pm NPLD1M HOME

Not good enough I'm afraid. No players in. A borrowed Glennon. Where do we go from here?? Wheres the money if we've got a 400+ home crowd?? I’ve not been able to see a game since Cambridge but the second half performance for me was a good indication that things are improving. This comment though ma...

Re: [ U23s / Development Squad ] Update

Thanks for those efforts Matt - I'm sure it's been a very difficult period for all concerned. It would be good to understand a bit more about where this leaves the pathway, notably where the Moulton U19/U23 route now sits. Is there now anything beyond the U16 Academy Team for those who don't want t...

Re: [ U23s / Development Squad ] Update

That's another wishy washy statement. Running costs in the Comb are very low, one of the cheapest for the level in the Country. Referees fees are in line with the NYSL, but with club linos. There are no other running costs unless the club choose to run with that model. Comparing to last season the ...

Re: [ U23s / Development Squad ] Update

It’s a crap situation but due to numerous factors, rising costs has made the model unsustainable. We’ve worked bloody hard to try make it successful but we had to have some honest and difficult conversations over the last month to protect the overall pathway

Re: [ Sun 8th Oct ] v Cambridge City, KO 2pm NPLD1M AWAY

Genuine question, why is Chris Nunn given more of a free ride than previous other managers? Peaksy, Burgess and Maxwell were absolutely ridiculed for less. Interested to hear… Peaksy was slated year in year out by a number of fans, even by some of the current board members. Burgess was slated for a...

Re: [ Sat 16th Sep ] v Coventry Sphinx, KO 3pm NPLD1M AWAY

We can’t accept losing matches week after week yet here we are almost in October with 0 points, and out of both major cups. Slightly concerned people are still backing the manager with full confidence. He’s built this team, from players to tactics, and the football has been crap since matchday 1 th...

Re: Lottery

I just can’t believe this post. Chris, you’re a good guy but so wrong regarding the pathway and the importance of the u21s and 23s. We don’t need to use Cogenhoe or just rely only on using the Scholarship at Moulton for developing players, not all players want to progress and take higher education a...

Re: [ Sat 4th Feb ] v Coalville Town, KO 3pm SLPDC AWAY

When 3-0 down and Sneads was receiving treatment Nunn called all the outfield players over for a team talk and said ‘ if we lose we lose fighting’ which I guess is all we want for the rest of the season too

Re: [ Sat 28th Jan ] v Stratford Town, KO 3pm SLPDC HOME

Another terrible performance today! I really do feel sorry for Chris because he truly has inherited a very poor squad that i feel will float around mid table next season in Step 4. It’s hard to say and to watch, but this some naive managerial appointments have left us with. Burgess wasn’t fit for t...
