Good lord, must have really been wound up for that to happen but thats inexcusable. Although it was probably a one off match, thats certainly confirmed it now.
Onto todays game and the less said about it the better. We did ok in the first half, little between the teams but once we go one down we literally fold anc end up getting battered like the last home game. For me we have 4 games which we can realistically win canbridge, boldmere, shepshed and walsall wood. Perform like the last 2 matches then we're down but theres got to be beleif amongst the squad that they can win those games. Its fortunare that rugby and gresley are equally as poor, but they'll certainly pick up the odd point here and there and they do have to play each other
At half time I thought we could go on and get something out of the match. Second half was just awful. I keep saying that if we stop giving away stupid goals we might get something out of these tough games. Unfortunately the goals conceded today, against Quorn and at Hinckley hand been shockingly bad. We need to get back to how we were a month ago, we look like we were earlier in the season at the moment.
Can't argue with the result but I felt the scoreline flattered the visitors a little. A first (and probably last) game to forget for our keeper and it would help us if we at least got one shot on target in the 90. Oh well. Onward to Quorn next week, if we get a point out of them we will be doing well.

Yeah, it's becoming increasing difficult now. Let's not forget we still have a game in hand on Rugby but with them playing Gresley in a few weeks, someone is going to pick up points.
The Cambridge City game is absolutely massive. They seem to blow hot and cold but we really need to rediscover a bit of form if we are going to pick up enough points to pull ourselves out of the bottom two.
Think our players find it hard to play diamond formations, just keep it simple for them please. Ngwa should have started , would have got round the lye defence easy compared to quorn. Not bring him on when 2-0 down , unless he wasn’t 100% I may be wrong.
Our goalie wiping out our defence for open goals is embarrassing. Lye didn’t even have to sweat and got a 0-4.
I am getting the impression now that our young lads down tools at home as they hate playing on the rough pitch. They’ll put their nice flashy boots on next week at quorn and put in a good performance.
The YouTuber was there today , won’t be good viewing that hope he deletes it and reshoots another game.
Massive shame that the incident happened, especially on a day where the club had Encompass, as well as Darren the YouTuber at the ground, trying to showcase what we do as a club for the community. The club can’t plan for things like that though unfortunately. The bigger shame is that certain ex players/coaches that have been with the club before continuously take every opportunity to bash us. I understand they want to stick up for their pal, but he’s headbutted someone, at the end of the day what do they expect the club to do? Honestly.
