Really tough one this, as they all are at the moment. We will do well to get a narrow defeat again. But maybe a draw if we can just get a goal! I expect we will have our now regular new signing but will he be a striker if Jones is still injured. When Johnston scored so many in pre season did he play as a centre forward, if so why do we persist using him as a wide player.

Local game for me - within 10 minutes walking distance.

What I can say is if the game was taking place on my back garden It'd definitely be off for waterlogged pitch... So hopefully they have better drainage than my lawn!!!

Forecast not great for tomorrow morning leading up to kickoff so one to watch. Hopefully we can get something out of a difficult game. Last time we were in the Stourbridge area we produced our best performance of a terrible year in our 2-0 win at Stourbridge so hopefully a bit of the same again please.

They e said no pitch inspection needed.

Sunny and a bit breezy here now so should be all good. See you Diamonds fans there.

Gutted.

First half played well, more than even to them, all we needed to do was see out the last few minutes. But 2 cheap goals knocked the wind out our sails.

After the goal in 2nd half we threw everything at them, but it just wasn't to be.

Blustery conditions and a heavy pitch, but we'll done to Lye for getting the game on.

I overheard Lye fans after the game saying that's the worst they've played all sason, so clearly we're not being outplayed, just need to be better at taking chances.
