After today's results, we find ourselves now 9 points adrift of safety going into next week's game, albeit with a couple of games in hand now, the teams above us are very up and down but they are unfortunately picking up points, Boldmere went 2 months without winning and then somehow went and won two games by 4 goals. Rugby got hammered by them today and not the first time they've been hammered this season, but even they have recently just managed back to back wins.

Michael and Tom will need to make full use of the week break, these two games are crucial and we really could do with winning both.

Looking forward to visiting Butthole Lane for the first time!! Hope they sing the up the butthole chant

As much as this seems like a defeatist comment, you are correct. We can't rely on the current crop to score the goals or like posted elsewhere, the defence and midfield should score enough goals. That just won't happen. Every team has the ability to score at leat one goal but that would mean us keeping a clean sheet to winm something we haven't done yet

Not a defeatist comment intended, just a fact. Will is topscorer with 2, Johnson has yet to disturb the scorers and frankly looks unlikely to do so any time soon. That despite a successful and pro.mising pre season. There must be someone out there! A young hungry loanee from Posh?

Green shoots of recovery or clutching at straws? Against Anstey we scored in the second half for the first time this season yesterday we "won" the second half for the first time this season. Defeats recently have been by the odd goal now we have four home games to start getting some points albeit some tough opposition. It's my birthday this week and I will be able to attend both games so hoping for a special prezzie of 6 points
