Today I washed out all our old RDFC shirts ready to donate to the club following the recent appeal. One of them has been signed by 4 players , one of which could be David Bell? One is very feint (can hardly read it) but the one that intrigued me is signed and had 13 after the signature. I’ve been wracking my brain trying to think who that could have been. No idea what season this was.
I know what a knowledgeable lot you are so thought you could help me out.

The only 2 players i can find that wore number 13 was Joe Day and Drewe Broughton

I’d make a complete guess and say that is Drewe Broughton’s signature .

More likely to be Drew than Joe looking at the actual signature. Thanks for the link to the squad numbers Biggles.

Looks closer to being Ronnie bull

I agree looks more like Ronnie Bull so that means the number is more like being 3 not 13

Biggles and Dan called it right, it's Drew Broughton's signature.

There is a hand signed photo of Drew Broughton holding off Sean Dyche for sale on eBay from his Diamonds days.





There's also another autograph of his for sale on eBay, though he's put 31 next to that one.
