After a delay of 4-5 weeks (to allow for the summer soccer schools), the final part of the first phase of pitch works is now complete. Selective weed spraying was done earlier this morning. This kills off any broader leaf weeds that appear on the pitch, with enough time for the grass to fill back in, before that slows down in late October. In addition a feed and liquid seaweed application was made.

We will also be doing a winter feed later in year, and also have a Vertidraining or top dressing slot available as required.

The end of the first phase - now moving into the Autumn/Winter phase.

The sprinklers and hoses have been cleaned and dried and hung ready for the spring/summer of 2024.

Alsoo cleaned, dried and put away the sprinkler timers (2 of 3 shown) that we use to control the overnight watering patterns. Meant we could do two shorter spells of a later evening watering, and then an early dawn watering. We had 6 sprinklers across 3 zones.
