The ‘squeezefootball’ Twitter account that covers football in Cambridgeshire tweeted last night to say that St Neots have put 7-day approaches in for numerous players, one of whom is Tom Lorraine.

Desperate or what if that’s true about 7 dayers, why on earth would Tom leave for that .

Watched the highlight of the pen , definitely outside the box but what do you expect when the lines aren’t painted enough ??? Like you cannot even see them on video

9 players on the alleged list, also includes Elliot Sandy. It’s some admission by the manager when after 4 games he wants to change almost the entire team, was he away for pre season.

That has to be the shortest "highlights" ever

That video is very entertaining. I could just about make out the lines when the camera fully zoomed in on the referee. I'm sure St Neots will make sure their pitch markings are crystal clear for the rest of the season.

We were only remarking pre-match how poor the line marking was and I suspect the groundsman was still on his summer holidays as there were many bare divots and the grass needed a trim. It was certainly not up to the standard of Deeping Rangers pitch.

Interesting article in Hunts Post where he refers to it. Doesn't name names though.

That's 10 now then as the original 9 listed by squeezecambridge were Elliot Sandy (Striker Corby), Danny Kelly (striker St Ives), Dan Brown (not sure which one as a few, a 37 year old at Harlow?), Aaron Murrell (possibly the striker at Potton or maybe the one from Berwick Rangers), Josh Oyinsan (striker played for everyone, Grays, Billericay, Maldon & Tiptree, Potters Bar, Met Police, Royston, more Clubs than Tiger Woods), Dumebi Dumaka (striker Grays, ConcordDulwich, Maidstone, Heybridge, Barking), Austin Diaper(NFI), Josh Mayhew Stowmarket and yes a striker, and Shanks, now add to that Ben Seymour-Shove of St Ives.
This is beginning to look like either a wind up, may be worth looking for anagrams, or the most desperate Manager on the planet, has been told to just get some goals and isn't bothered about the other end because if he signs half the 7 day list his next line up may well be 2-1-7.
