Re: Name for the new bar
Surely one of the key reasons for naming the bar is for marketing purposes. If we're trying to turn this in to a venue for functions then it makes sense to have an appealing name rather than 'The Clubhouse at Hayden Road Stadium'.
The Cross Keys is my favourite so far.

The Cross Keys is my favourite.
If you want to make it more neutral why not put Lankies at the end.

I think The Cross Keys is a great choice anyone coming across the bridge from the a6 will see the Cross Keys. It’s not exclusive. Let’s stop trying to make friends, like today’s friendly.

Re: Name for the new bar
Bloody good name whoever thought of that!
Only thing the club needs to now is a bit of market research (essentially, ask the people who frequent the bar the most what they want) I’ve said it time and time again that the large bar with the dance floor needs to be utilised better. Doesn’t necessarily need a band or dj, but a bit of music after the newly acquired BT sport fixture is going to keep the punters entertained and more importantly now, spending money.
Definitely making progress by acquiring the bar in the first place, getting football on and decent beer in there. Now we just need to decorate it a bit and bring in the punters!

It's progressing.... nice sign that :-) Coming to a bar near you soon.
