Banbury United are not happy being placed ‘South’ and they have my sympathy. Obviously they are out on a limb to a degree in the designated ‘Central’ area and have the same problem that we faced a couple of years ago and some club is always on the edge of a designated area.

You would of thought hitchen town may have been suited better to their league, only a few miles from the m1

Apparently the appeals won't be heard until after the Southern League AGM which is this weekend, so the league constitutions won't be finalised until some time in July. The provisional club directory /map / links is now on the OWS - http://www.afcdiamonds.com/southern-lea ... ory-201819

The SL have at least sorted out the naming of their divisions.
They were originally listed as Central, South, East and West, with no indication at which level the divisions were situated.
Now they are Premier Central, Premier South, Division One Central and Division One South.

Thank goodness common sense prevails, it was very confusing and kind of made it look like we hadn't even been promoted.

We have a while to wait for the fixtures - and won't have any cup news that affects us until the competitions have started - http://www.afcdiamonds.com/fixture-news
That is until another club announces it is going into administration!!

That shouldn't matter (unless of course that club is in our league), as once the league AGMs have been held and the appeal process is complete any further withdrawals should mean that the relevant league just runs a team short.
