Huge game for us Saturday.

Diamonds, Hayes and Hartley all face mid-table teams with nothing to play for. You can't expect Hayes and Hartley to drop anything next weekend but live in hope.

Beaconsfield face a slightly stiffer test against Moneyfields, who still could just about scrape playoffs at a push, but must be hurting after their collapse earlier in the season.

Cambridge v Dunstable means one of them is going to take points off the other ( or they both will). Currently Cambridge's game in hand could mean they can get to 89 points maximum, whereas Dunstable can only get to 87 - so despite the extra point on the board, a Dunstable win wouldn't be a disaster, a draw would be best for us though.

We need to not panic, you don't become a bad team overnight - stick 3 points on the board and the pressure will be heaped onto the others a bit more as the games start to run out and the congestion piles up.

A draw does mean they both drop points, so I will go for that. Then we beat them both in the next week and we are then almost home.

AFC Dunstable 2-2 Cambridge City, City scored in the 98th minute to equalise! Great result that I'd say :clapping:

Massive well done to the lads today for finally getting a win, was worried it was going to be another deeply frustrating afternoon until Ryan smashed that cracking goal in, just the breakthrough we desperately needed, slightly nervy when we conceded that howler, but in the end it was a lot more comfortable than I expected it to be. More of a relief today than anything.

Still some tough obstacles in our way ahead of a massive week, but it's one step closer, still on track (just!) and we know we're capable of getting the results we need in these last two weeks, 3 wins or 2 wins and a couple of draws should do it I think.

Look we weren’t great today, but when you’ve got two players of the quality of Robbins and SWD up front, goals like that can happen. Two absolutely incredible strikes. Note re Robbins both came when he threw himself into winning long balls and it would be great to see him win even more, which he should with his physique! Imo we need to get Farrell back into the starting XI for the biggest week in the clubs history. The ball for the final goal was sumptuous. Am off overseas next Sunday so would love to see us get two results this week - COYD!

Don't you just love football?! Tuesday night we played an in form Bedford team off the park, but couldn't put the ball in the back of the net. Then first half today, against a pretty poor Aylesbury Utd, we were absolutely abysmal, yet go in two up at half time thanks to a couple of wonder goals.

Let's hope this is the confidence boost we need going into the final few games of the season; the title isn't lost yet!

That first half was the absolute pits. Or the first 35 minutes at least. Once Ryan scored the panic that seemed to have overwhelmed the whole team noticeably lifted and we started to play a bit of football. SWD’s finish was sublime albeit he forced himself into a really tight angle.

Ryan Robbins proving why it’s always worth having him on the pitch, I make that the third time he’s scored from distance out of absolutely nothing. It sounds like he’s going on holiday for a few days though, any idea when he’s likely to return?

Looking increasingly like a shootout between ourselves, Beaconsfield and Hartley Wintney for the top 2 places. We’re effectively 4 points clear of HW with 4 games left.

Well said, couldn't have put it better, first 35 minutes was poor, but that's what Robbins can do, turn a game around like that, outstanding goal. Which lifted the team up. From then on we played much better football, looked comfortable (the only scare was when the ball bobbled over the keeper)

Nice to see Lorraine score at the end, an excellent 4-1 win in the end, Robbins must start on Tuesday.

Excellent win, and let's go again on Tuesday and win.
