A little bit of interesting info i have just found.

Dan Creaney who seems to be scoring for fun for Bedworth looks to have played against our U18 in 2011 for Nuneaton Town U18

Good all round performance, looked solid at the back and creative up front. Fingers crossed the injury to oulton isn't to bad as he was my man of the match until he went off.

Thought our link-up play going forward was strong and inventive, and everyone worked hard throughout. Bedworth looked a strong, physical side and I don't expect many teams will turn them over this season so it's another terrific 3 points.

Good performance from the boys this afternoon building on last Saturday's performance. Pleased to hear Ross Oulton's injury isn't serious and only a dead leg. He's highly influential and a proper midfield general and when in possession doesn't just bang it forward at the first opportunity but lifts his head and considers options. The front two worked hard once again and were generally well supported by our two 'goal scoring' wide midfielders.

Feeling very optimistic about our FA Cup tie against AFC Hornchurch this Saturday.

I hope we can look at our first half performance as the sort of level of performance we need to strive for all season because there was some really good stuff from them today, some very nice link-up play and we caused them all sorts of problems at the back. Good to keep a CS as well, although Bedworth didn't actually test us that much, it was much more solid at the back, a great bank holiday weekend :clapping:

And it was funny to see Iyseden Christie come off the bench for Bedworth, how many times have we played him now, we played him at Barwell, he of course (unfortunately) scored for K*ttering in the last game between RDFC and K*ttering at Nene Park and we must have faced him a few times at Kiddy too, he's been at a hell of a lot of clubs, have we played him playing for any other clubs?

Edit: Looking at the RDFC1992 site, seems we played him at Tamworth too.

As others have said, an excellent display all round against a decent side. It's been a cracking couple of days after the doom and gloom of the first couple of matches.

Thought Nic Evangelinos has been a bit of an unsung hero in the last couple of games. He's got a great touch and is very positive and attack-minded. Nabil has been looking so sharp up top. He and Orosz have struck up a good partnership already.

The first half was probably the best we've played this season, haven't been to any of the away games, so can't compare.

Great to see us get a clean sheet, second half was more even but credit to our defence we kept them out.
