According to Brackley's Twitter feed he has signed for them. Best of luck to the lad.

Yes good luck to him.
I know OD2 didn't rate him :ermm: , but I felt he could have been very effective for us next season.
Big step up to their level though.

Big blow if true, although with the greatest respect to the lad I think he might find life difficult in what will be a struggling Conference North side. Hopefully he'll be dual registered with us.

I imagine we'll see a retained list sometime soon.

Not sure if he'll be dual registered with us as Brackley's second string play at Step 5 in the Hellenic League.

Jumping from regular Step 5 to Step 2 is asking a lot. Jack Newman and Liam Caravan have found it very tough with the Ploppies.

I like Jack,so hope he does well.

Bowen Out, Newman in. Great

Not sure if we issue a retained list as all the players are free agents.
I think its a case of Peaks talking to those he would like to be with us next season and then the player weighing up factors such as pay, travelling involved etc. I expect several to leave now that we are in the Northern League.

I would take that to be honest. Not ideal to be losing Bowen but Newman is a very similar player.

We've issued a retained list in previous years. IIRC, last year's, which came out around this time, included news that we'd signed Quigley and Lawless.

Last year we issued a squad update however a few changed their minds so we won't be making the same mistake this season.
