I had a chat with the number four after the game, he didn't think he was badly injured. I agree both the centre halves were very good for them and the fact that Tom Lorraine was MotM showed how good they were because he didn't let them settle

How some of you can come on here and defend one of your supporters punching the opposition manager belies belief ('he deserved it').
Would have been a totally different story if one of their supporters hit one of your officials.
Face up to it.......... one of your supporters has let your club down big time and should not be brushed under the carpet. :x :(

May be worth changing the word some for one, to at least be factually correct. Only 2 comments about the alleged incident, the one you referred to and a second suggesting a life ban, not exactly whole scale defence. Would prefer to let the Club find out the facts & take any action they feel appropriate.Woodford Dad wrote:How some of you can come on here and defend one of your supporters punching the opposition manager belies belief ('he deserved it').

I agree entirely with you. If that is what happened, and I only know what I've read on here, the person responsible should be dealt with by the law should Mr Rayment choose to pursue that line. Either way to seek to defend the actions of a thug is not acceptable.Woodford Dad wrote:How some of you can come on here and defend one of your supporters punching the opposition manager belies belief ('he deserved it').

If Fat Pat behaved in a dignified manner becoming of a football official then I don't think anybody would disagree with punishing any alleged offender.
Did he get punched? Did anyone actually witness that?
Why did he get punched? Giving V signs to the crowd and screaming insults maybe.
Rayments behaviour not just yesterday but on many occasions this season has been embarrassing for the Spalding Utd club officials and their players, who appear to be a bunch of reasonable people.

We have still not beaten a top four team at Dog and Duck. By that I mean a team that finished in the top four. Draws last year and three defeats this year. Next season three wins!!!

Latest Google Documents, updated after yesterday's results, for Step 4 relegation and Step 5 promotion. Interesting to see which clubs have confirmed ground grading approval to compete at Step 4 level.

Mal's pics are added to the Match Report - look out for a couple of "men against boys" pics towards the end.
The one of Gearing, Henderson and Lorraine after our goal is crying out for a caption....
