Might be, if Virgin could actually get any of their services to work in Leeds, massive problems for just about everyone signed up to them here for the last 4 years and they've done nothing about it. I'll stick with Sky.Mad Dog wrote:Not really when compared to what Sky offered as an equivalent. ;) Here it is:Ah, the free that you have to pay for :P ;)

I had Setanta for the duration of their deal with the BSP. I have to say that watching 90 minutes of non league football that didn't involve the Diamonds was far from great entertainment. Unsurprisingly, a few teams dominated the schedules mainly York, Torquay and Oxford. Rushden did not get much of a look in neither did the smaller teams who would have benefited more from the coverage.
Ladies and gentlemen, Elvis has left the building.

They've generally behaved themselves for as long as we've had them. Probably been lucky. Sky on the otherhand were bastards when we cancelled with them. We moved to (then) NTL due to it being cheaper and also being able to afford Sky Sports. Whilst my dad was on the phone trying getting through the guy's head that we were cancelling, they changed our subscription without consultation, removing some packages and adding others. Needless to say that pissed him off further.wewantourdarbyback wrote:Might be, if Virgin could actually get any of their services to work in Leeds, massive problems for just about everyone signed up to them here for the last 4 years and they've done nothing about it. Anyway we've had different experiences with them, so can't really cast judgement on the other's.
Tbh, although it was nice when we were on, it was a team under Garry Hill. Not nice viewing usually in the flesh, let alone on TV. I do agree there was a bias towards the larger sides, but probably because Setanta thought they would draw bigger audiences.Turveyman wrote:I had Setanta for the duration of their deal with the BSP.
