Crowd prediction for next Saturday?
Re: Crowd prediction for next Saturday?
Or a membership scheme where people sign up directly to the club (thus avoiding any supporters trust animosity), which costs exactly £23 in order to be able to buy tickets for yourself at last seasons prices, with cup ticket priority over those that don't have it. Of course away fans would be allowed to sign up should they want.

Hadn't thought of that actually and it would get people into the Club Shop as well, maybe buying some merchandise.DiamondsFan wrote:I don't understand why the club can't just charge 15 quid for tickets bought before the day of the match and 17 quid on the day prices. Lots of other clubs do it.
I predict 1100

We are clearly going to have a sell out, so about 6,500 I say...

Even if the attendance is bellow a thousand the figures will be manipulated upwards to a 1000 plus to avoid the embarrassment.

Re: Crowd prediction for next Saturday?
Sky Sports news are reporting considerable reductions in first game attendances across all of the Football League. Championship attendances were down an average of 4.6%, with only two clubs showing an increase on last season. League 1 was down an average of 2.5% and League 2 dropped by 10.5%, with the attendance at Rotherham's first game being over 60% down on last season! Especially bad when you consider they reached the play offs last season, and they don't have a useless, lumbering, egotistical cart-horse playing up front this season! ;)
Assuming predictions on here are accurate, we certainly won't be the only club affected, and I imagine we won't be the worst affected either.

I think we'll top 1000 easily. People are so pessimistic.

The impression I've got from talking to people is that they or people they know have either signed up to the trust or have bought season tickets now. I'm now backing BR's statement.Sara Pascoe wrote:1,000 in total or 1,000 home fans?BartonRaz wrote:I think we'll top 1000 easily. People are so pessimistic.
