westley could make average players good, he'd make his team run through brick walls for him.

Sam Smith broke a bone in his foot on Saturday and -according to BBC -may be out for the rest of the season. The lad has had some bad luck with injuries.

He picked up the injury last week, rather than in the K*ttering game, but it's desperately back luck for him. It sounds similar to the injury he picked up in the final minutes of the Wingate friendly that ruined his final season for the Diamonds - and he was also out for a month earlier this season with a similar injury.

Billy Sharp has signed for Southampton, and it looks like Jefferson Louis is off to Lincoln City.

You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.

I think this one might be as reliable as the Mark English story you posted on the Desparate Mreasures thread for a while - http://www.football.co.uk/preston_north ... 7234.shtml

Jefferson Louis signs for Lincoln City, I guess as cover for Sam Smiths injury, a few Afc fans saw him play for Brackley last weekend and he was awful apparently so quite a shock really!!
