It's got to be brad at centre half if Delroy isn't fit, we've looked poor when wilko filled in there.

A few games in our league have been called off now including Barton Rovers.

I wasn't confident that it would be on when they announced a pitch inspection last evening. With the the amount of rain overnight I'm not surprised and it would have meant a 90 mile round trip from Cambridge for me so I'm now having having to make do with Cambridge United v Basingstoke Town in the FA Cup this afternoon.

That's a shame, mind you not surprised as its been raining in Wollaston most of the morning.
Saves me getting soaked I suppose as it was going to be a featured game in the NLP.

I heard that it's only a partial tear, so he will only be out for about two months.Bob's Bitch wrote:That'll take a while though, I presume he's getting a full ACL reconstruction and usually players are out for 6 months with those injuries plus rehab.BartonRaz wrote:Or get Jack Ashton back playing ASAP, and we can all play a part in that!Sid wrote:I would certainly prefer Brad to play at centre back rather than Ollie, but I think Ollie is our best right back.
I'm sure the management are working on it, but we urgently need to bring in another defender.
I'd rather have another right back than Wilkinson, he's been given a fair crack of the whip and hasn't been up to standard IMO.
Of course, that will go much faster if we all donate!

I believe 'key hole' surgery has been mentioned.James Beil wrote:
