Deeping could only manage a 1-1 draw at home to Rothwell Corinthians this afternoon. As we know that will count for nothing this Saturday and I'm sure that our boys will be fully focused as Deeping will be anxious to get one over us.

As long as the boys stay focused and we play a full strength squad we'll be fine. Of course with the monetary incentive, Deeping will be wanting this more than any time we've played them in the league. However, we've beaten them before and we should be able to beat them again.

Odds on Bet365
Deeping 7/2
Draw 7/2
AFC Rushden and Diamonds 1/2
Still far too short in my opinion unless it's added into an accumulator..

There's an interesting article from a Deeping viewpoint linked on our twitter feed - http://www.spaldingtoday.co.uk/sport/fo ... -1-6973761
It answers the question about whether Jason Kilbride will be available to play for Deeping.
I think both managers are talking a lot of sense about this game - I'd take a draw now if offered, as I think it's one of the biggest threats we've faced to our unbeaten run since the Cogenhoe game.

The way the defence has been performing, i'd be confident that they can keep a clean sheet. I think at worse we'd concede one so we need to make sure we can match that, as I'm sure most would take a replay.

I'm confident for the win, need to take more of our chances though. Same team as last week for me.

I believe Ashton is suspended so Gordon to replace him with a possible reshuffle involving Brad to right back and Bunting to centre midfield, although Quigley and Brad were both excellent last week.fentiger79 wrote:I'm confident for the win, need to take more of our chances though.
