Rankine to K*ttering?

Post by AFCRD_Dan »

Was just looking over on the K*ttering forum, and through all the crap, I came across this post.

Surely even Rankine wouldn't lower himself to join the scum? If he ever did, he'd go down in my estimation.

I still love Ranks. I don't think he will go there as he is held in high regard at York.

I couldn't see that happening now that Rankine is the best striker that York have now that Brodie has left. The only reason he might look for a move is that the York crowd get on his back. Despite his efforts on Saturday (admittedly with a few clumsy efforts in front of goal), where he was worth far more to the team than Michael Gash, it was the latter that got the standing ovation when he came off - and Ranks who got abuse if he did anything wrong.

I thought that Gash's name pretty much described his performance on Saturday, he offered very little. Ranks worked as hard as he always did but Curtis and Jamie had the better of him for most of the match.

He should have seen a yellow for his tackle on Max late on though.

You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.

One Dale Roberts.
