JE's targets this season
No doubt in the fact justin knows what he is on about but read through his targets for this season-

maybe im being pesimistic but surely this isn't possible. And after posting a thread asking where people think we will come is edingbourgh slightly out of touch with his prediction.

12 months ago the playoffs were a distant dream then on here as well. Therefore no one on here or anywhere else can really pass judgement on JE's targets for this season before May 2011.

Re: JE's targets this season
The first question's a bit weird since I don't think any of us have higher expectations now we know what the squad's like!
Exactly! I don't expect the same over-achievement again, if we do it again then JE will surely be set for a higher club.Justin wrote:Expectations looking in from the outside are maybe slightly higher but we all know that we overachieved last year and that we had a fantastic effort from the team to achieve what they did...

It seems Blue Sq themselves don't give us much chance - http://www.footballconference.co.uk/new ... ettin.html - we don't even seem to be worth a mention.

I don't see why we shouldn't set the same targets. The heart of our team is still there, Stuart, Az, Faz, Porter, Osano, Corky, Dale. Only a couple of players have left, and they have been replaced. Who knows what Justin will get out of the new ones, considering what he was able to get out of a previously unexcited Tomlin.

You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.
One Dale Roberts.

in full agreement with wwodb
my only worry is with losing tommo, are we also going to lose that bit of magic that he produced to get us out of trouble, and a few points that we maybe didnt deserve, last season???

I can think of 3 points that Tommo got us (Luton away, Crawley at home). Any more?
